Tanya and Matthew Veltz, 2022 Russ Berrie Making a Difference Honorees

Tanya and Matthew Veltz of East Orange reach into communities and assist vulnerable individuals in North Jersey through Tree House Cares, a community health program that hosts health fairs and feeding programs. They founded Tree House Cares, a community health program that distributes groceries, clothing, & other necessities in communities throughout North Jersey. Offer hot meals to those in need, provide thousands of pounds of free groceries every week, distribute hundreds of book bags and other school supplies for children of all ages, organize free community events for each holiday, providing food, games, essential items and provide informational resources on health care, job security, housing and more.
